Who Me?

Lanee' is a Brooklyn based Emmy nominated comedy writer, director and performer. She was born and raised on military bases which is why she’s so good at doing 10 push ups and wearing olive green. She is currently a staff writer at The Daily Show and she has previously written for Onyx Collective, Tha God’s Honest Truth, College Humor, Reductress, Girl Tales and most importantly(? tbd), for herself.

She writes and performs as a member of the NYC based sketch comedy troupe, Time to Kill and puts digital sketches out into the ether weekly with her dearest friends as 1/4 of, OffQ Comedy. She teaches and directs sketch comedy at the Magnet Theater where she also performed for 7 years with her veteran sketch team, The Nitro Girls. She has also worked in a number of law firms, and it's frankly astounding how little she can tell you about any law.

Lanee' has performed at Austin Sketch Fest, Baltimore Improv Fest, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Chicago SketchFest, DCM, NY Comedy Festival, NYC Improv Fest, NY Sketch Fest, Seattle Sketch Fest, Toronto Sketch Fest and once at a synagogue where a man exclaimed she was a dead ringer for Michelle Obama.
